Is there a difference between a motor and a motor?

What is a motor?

Electric machinery refers to an electromagnetic device that realizes electric energy conversion or transmission according to the law of electromagnetic induction. The motor is represented by the letter M (old standard D) in the circuit, and its main function is to generate driving torque. As the power source of electrical appliances or various machines, the generator is represented by the letter G in the circuit, and its main function is to convert electric energy into mechanical energy.

A, motor division and classification

1. According to the type of working power supply, it can be divided into DC motor and AC motor.

2. According to the structure and working principle, it can be divided into DC motor, asynchronous motor and synchronous motor.

3. According to the starting and running modes, it can be divided into three types: capacitor-starting single-phase asynchronous motor, capacitor-running single-phase asynchronous motor, capacitor-starting single-phase asynchronous motor and split-phase single-phase asynchronous motor.

4. According to the purpose, it can be divided into driving motor and control motor.

5. According to the structure of rotor, it can be divided into squirrel-cage induction motor (old standard called squirrel-cage asynchronous motor) and wound rotor induction motor (old standard called wound asynchronous motor).

6. According to the running speed, it can be divided into high-speed motor, low-speed motor, constant-speed motor and variable-speed motor. Low-speed motors are divided into gear reduction motors, electromagnetic reduction motors, torque motors and claw-pole synchronous motors.

Second, what is a motor?

Motor is a kind of equipment that converts electric energy into mechanical energy. It uses electrified coil (that is, stator winding) to generate rotating magnetic field and act on rotor (such as squirrel-cage closed aluminum frame) to form magnetoelectric rotating torque. Motors are divided into DC motors and AC motors according to different power sources. Most of the motors in the power system are AC motors, which can be synchronous motors or asynchronous motors (the stator magnetic field speed of the motor does not keep synchronous with the rotor rotation speed). The motor is mainly composed of stator and rotor, and the direction of the energized conductor in the magnetic field is related to the direction of current and magnetic induction line (magnetic field direction). The working principle of the motor is that the magnetic field acts on the current to make the motor rotate.

Third, the basic structure of the motor

16

1. The structure of three-phase asynchronous motor consists of stator, rotor and other accessories.

2. The DC motor adopts octagonal fully laminated structure and series excitation winding, which is suitable for automatic control technology that needs forward and reverse rotation. According to the needs of users, it can also be made into a series winding. Motors with center height of 100 ~ 280mm have no compensation winding, but motors with center height of 250mm and 280 mm can be made with compensation winding according to specific conditions and needs, and motors with center height of 315 ~ 450 mm have compensation winding. The installation dimensions and technical requirements of the motor with a center height of 500 ~ 710 mm meet IEC international standards, and the mechanical dimension tolerance of the motor meets ISO international standards.

Is there a difference between a motor and a motor?

Motor includes motor and generator. Is the floorboard of the generator and motor, the two are conceptually different. The motor is just one of the motor operation modes, but the motor operates in the electric mode, that is, it converts electric energy into other forms of energy; Another operation mode of the motor is the generator. At this time, it operates in the power generation mode and converts other forms of energy into electric energy. However, some motors, such as synchronous motors, are generally used as generators, but they can also be directly used as motors. Asynchronous motors are more used for motors, but they can also be used as generators by adding simple peripheral components.
